To use gently rub your soap on a wet cloth to form bubbles and proceed to wash your dishes or stove, counter tops. For handwashing dishes shave a little soap off of the block into the dishwater or hold a corner of your soap in the running water as you fill the sink.

For greasy food I recommend  using your cloth lathered in Dirty work soap and cover the soiled areas in the bubbles and let sit for 15 to 30 minutes before washing. For baked on dishes please just let them sit in soapy water for 30 minutes as one would with liquid detergent based dishwashing liquid

Dirty work soap works well as a pretreatment laundry stain stick.
